Winter FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

A: Cancellations 3 or more days in advance are fully refundable, 1-2 days are 50% refundable. Day of Cancellations or No Show situations are Non-Refundable.

How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

A: We have a limited number of machines and we do reach full capacity especially on weekends and holidays. Try to make your reservation as soon as you know what day and time you would like to go out. 

Can you accommodate large groups? 

A: We can accommodate groups of up to 80 people. 

Is Damage Insurance available?

A: Yes, We offer a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). $25 per machine and gives you a $2000 deductible for Snowmobiles, or $5000 Deductible for Tracked UTV’s. Meaning if you damage the machine on tour or on rent, you are responsible to pay up to $2000 or $5000 and we will cover any additional damages. The CDW is not required, but always recommended.

How far are you from Park City?

A: Our Winter location is at the Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course in Midway which is about 30 Minutes from Park City. 

Can you provide transportation?

A: We offer transportation on a situation to situation basis. Please call to see if we can accommodate transportation for you.

If not, we have several transportation companies we can refer you to.

What Happens if I'm Late for my tour time? 

A: Plan on arriving 30-45 minutes prior to your tour time so we can fill out paperwork and get geared up. Our tours need to leave on time so we do not delay other guests or our following tours. There are no refunds to those who show up after our tour time. 

How should I dress? 

We recommend you dress as if you are going skiing or snowboarding. We allow snowboard boots to be used, but ski boots are not allowed. You’ll need; Waterproof winter jacket and pants (or mono-suit), warm gloves, and snow boots.

If you do have the appropriate gear, we have everything you need for rent. Full gear sets (boots, suits, and gloves) are available for $30/person. We have sizes ranging from youth size 4 to adult 3XL.

We also have gloves, balaclavas and other accessories available for purchase.

Helmets and goggles are included in your rental.

Are Gas, Oil, and Taxes extra?

Yes.  It must be a full face DOT approved helmet.

Ski/Snowboard helmets are not allowed. 

Are Gas, Oil, and Taxes extra?

A: Tax is not included in list prices. 

Fuel/oil is included in all Guided Tours. 

There is a $10/hr fuel/oil charge for all unguided rentals. 

How old do you have to be?

A: You must be 18 years old to rent or drive.

All passengers must be 5 years old or older and feel comfortable wearing a DOT approved helmet (helmet is provided).

We do not allow animals as passengers regardless of age. 

Can we book a UTV's and Snowmobiles together?

A: Yes, UTV’s are on-trail only vehicles and are limited on the terrain they can go on. If you group UTV’s with snowmobiles the entire tour will be limited on the terrain you can cover. 

Is there any avalanche danger? 

A: We do not take our tours into any avalanche terrain.

I've never ridden a snowmobile before, can I rent one unguided?

A: Snowmobiling is a very technical sport and it can be very dangerous. Our guided tours are the perfect way to learn how to snowmobile and enjoy the mountains in a very safe and controlled way. 

Is there a weight limit?

A: There is a combined passenger weight limit of 500lbs.

A: Our Summer location is at the Cascade Springs OHV trail-head in Midway which is about 30 Minutes from Park City.

If not, we have several transportation companies we can refer you to.

What Happens if I'm Late for my tour time? 

A: Plan on arriving 30-45 minutes prior to your tour time so we can fill out paperwork and get geared up. Our tours need to leave on time so we do not delay other guests or our following tours. If you are going to be late to the point it may delay other guests, we may rebook you to a later tour or you may forfeit your spot. 

How should I dress? 

A: Dress for the weather for that day and be ready to get dirty! ATV riders must wear closed toe shoes. We provide Helmets, Goggles, and Bandannas.

Are Gas, Oil, and Taxes extra?

A: Tax is not included in our list price. 

Guided tours Do Not charge extra for gas or oil. 

Unguided rentals will be charged $5/hr for fuel.
